The EnGarde® Panther™ model is tactical body armor designed for civilians and non-combatants, combining superior protection with ease of mobility. The Panther™ is popular among journalists, medical personnel, and private security due to its less aggressive appearance.

The Panther™ is a fully scalable armor system providing NIJ Level IIIA protection. The protection level can be increased to NIJ Level III or IV with the addition of a hard armor plate in front and back.

This model has been recently reengineered to include new integrated components that provide a fully functional and scalable design. The vest also offers optional ballistic throat, shoulder/collar, groin and deltoid protectors.
